Duolingo is a popular language
learning app, but it has some limitations. For intermediate and advanced
learners, it doesn’t offer enough new material to reach full fluency. It also
doesn’t prepare users well for real-life conversations, as the speaking and
listening exercises are not like actual conversations. The app’s quality varies
between languages – some, like Spanish and French, have many lessons, while
others, like Finnish, have fewer resources. Duolingo is good for practice, but
it’s not enough to become fluent, especially for grammar and non-Latin scripts
like Chinese or Cyrillic.”
